Monthly Update October 25

October was that rare beast, a month when Mr. Market actually smiled instead of sneering. Indexes went full maniac, breaking new all-time highs like it’s their side hustle.

Since September left me empty-handed, I finally put that leftover cash to work. I grabbed some Coca-Cola and Target during their brief moments of weakness, nothing says defensive play like buying sugar water and cheap T-shirts.

By the end of the month, my October allocation was also begging to be spent, so I started building positions in Waste Management and Colgate-Palmolive. For now, I’ve only deployed about 50% of my planned allocation because even in a bull market, patience is still cheaper than regret.

The dividends keep dripping, the watchlist keeps teasing, and I keep waiting for Wall Street to finally have a proper panic attack.
